Our Values

Italy Runs in Our Blood

Some people discover Italy. We were born into it.

Argento's Market was founded by a family with deep Italian heritage and a lifelong love of the food, the culture, and the uncompromising standards that define the Italian table. We grew up understanding what real Italian food tastes like — not the imitation, not the private label, not the mass-produced approximation that fills American supermarket shelves under an Italian-sounding name.

The real thing. And we decided it was time Americans had access to it.

The Problem We Set Out to Solve

Walk into any grocery store in the United States and you'll find dozens of products marketed as Italian. Most of them aren't. They're American-made or globally blended products hiding behind Italian imagery, designed to look authentic while cutting every corner that authenticity requires.

We know the difference. And once you taste the difference, you can't go back.

Real Italian food isn't just about flavor — it's about what isn't in it. No unnecessary additives. No artificial preservatives. No cheap fillers. Italian food culture is built on clean, honest ingredients that have been refined over centuries. The olive oil is just olives. The balsamic is just grapes. The coffee is just coffee — roasted by people who have been doing it since 1870.

This is what we bring to your kitchen. Nothing more, nothing less.

How We Find What You'll Find Here

Several times a year, our family travels to Italy. Not to tourist markets. Not to trade shows. Deep into the regions — Tuscany, Modena, the hills of Campania — meeting producers, tasting their work, understanding their story.

Our standard is simple: if we wouldn't serve it at our own table, it doesn't make it onto this site.

We look specifically for brands that are not yet available in the United States. If you find a product here, we found it first. Every brand in our collection was personally sourced, personally tasted, and personally brought to the American market by our family. That's not a marketing claim — it's the only way we know how to do this.

What We Believe

We believe that what you eat matters — not just for pleasure, but for your health. The clean, additive-free nature of authentic Italian food isn't an accident. It's a philosophy. A respect for ingredients that the Italian food tradition has maintained for generations while much of the world's food industry moved in the opposite direction.

When you cook with ArteOlio, you're not just getting great olive oil — you're getting up to five times the antioxidants of conventional extra virgin olive oil, cold-pressed within three hours of harvest. When you drizzle Mosto Sacro, you're getting slow-cooked Modena grape must with nothing added and nothing hidden.

Food this clean tastes better. And it's better for you. That's not a coincidence.

Our Promise to You

Every product on this site has been:

  • Personally sourced by our family in Italy
  • Unavailable elsewhere in the United States at the time we brought it over
  • Held to the highest quality standards — clean ingredients, authentic origin, no compromises
  • Fairly priced for what it genuinely is — not what the label says it is

We are not a marketplace. We are not a distributor of whatever is available. We are a family that loves Italy, loves food, and has made it our mission to close the gap between what Americans are sold and what Italians actually eat.

To the Producers Who Haven't Crossed the Atlantic Yet, the US market is waiting. We know how to open the door.

Argento's Market is actively seeking exclusive partnerships with Italy's finest food producers who are ready to enter the United States market. We are not looking for brands already available in America — we are looking for the ones that aren't yet.

What we offer is more than distribution. We offer deep knowledge of the US consumer market, an established and growing direct-to-consumer platform, and a genuine passion for telling your brand's story to an American audience that is increasingly hungry for authentic Italian products.

We travel to Italy multiple times a year specifically to find producers who meet our standard. If your product is exceptional, clean, and genuinely Italian — and you are ready to build something real in the United States — we would love to start a conversation.

Benvenuti a Argento's Market.

Welcome to the real Italy.
